बेनीवाल के पहुंचते ही दिल्ली पुलिस की सिट्टी-पिट्टी ग़ुम, पहलवान पूनिया को छोड़ना पड़ा!

दिल्ली में पहलवानों का प्रदर्शन, जिसने भी ये तस्वीरें देखी वो हैरान था। देश को गोल्ड मेडल दिलाने वाले पहलवानों के साथ दिल्ली पुलिस ने जो सुलूक किया उसे देखकर लोगों के मन में गुस्सा भी दिखा। पहलवानों को पुलिस ने डिटेन करके अलग-अलग जगह रखा। इस मामले में हनुमान बेनीवाल की भी एंट्री हुई। दरअसल, बेनीवाल पहलवान बजरंग पूनियां को रिहा करवाने के लिए करने के लिए रात 9 बजे मयूर विहार थाने पहुंचे थे। इसके बाद उन्होंने बजरंग पूनियां और पुलिस से बात की। लगभग 2 घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद उन्होंने बजरंग पूनिया को रिहा करवा लिया। इसके बाद बेनीवाल उन्हें लेकर बाहर निकले। बेनीवाल ने सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि सत्ता के घमंड में जो केंद्र सरकार ने पुलिस के जरिए हमारे देश की बेटियों के साथ जो बर्ताव किया है वो निदंनीय है।
